Amazonite

Amazonite also called Amazon stone (it derived from the Amazon) is a mostly opaque, green green sodium feldspar. Color distribution is irregular; luster is vitreous; it is sensitive to pressure. Deposits are found in Colorado, Brazil, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Namibia, and Russia. For many years, the source of Amazonite's color was a mystery.
